The Opportunity As a Senior Elixir Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building the critical infrastructure to process transactions, developing internal automation tools to streamline payments, and implementing the underlying functionality for features that our clients love. You’ll not only be enhancing existing functionality, but also have the opportunity to solve new problems as we continue to scale and grow.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience, with significant hands-on experience in Elixir-based systems
- Hands on experience with Elixir, Phoenix, and Postgres
- Strong understanding of functional programming and event-driven architectures
- Deep functional knowledge or hands on experience building APIs, CQRS, PubSub
- Strong debugging and diagnostic skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud services a plus
- Deep experience building and scaling large applications, preferably using Elixir and React.
- Experience working with B2B software products, particularly in the freight, logistics, or finance industries.
