About The Position

We're assisting a wellfunded startup with their search for sr. software engineers to join their integrations team. Their product is an AI Platform built for dental practices that allow them to be more efficient, accurate and productive. The role will work a hybrid schedule 2 days a week in the Boston office and 3 days remotely.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering in SaaS environment.
• Demonstrated ownership – built and shipped something from early stage to completion.
• Proficiency in Node and/or Python for backend development.
• Experience with AWS, MongoDB, and Postgres.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integration development (connectors, services).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor).
• Customer obsession — ability to think from the clinician/end-user perspective.
• Strong communicator that collaborates effectively across engineering, ML, and ops.

Responsibilities

• Build new integrations and connectors from scratch for their patient management and imaging software partners
• Design, build, and automate testing for REST services at the application, identity, data pipeline/storage, and machine learning layers.
• Work within two-week sprint cycles to contribute to new projects, shipping code within your first few weeks.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, clinicians, and AI scientists to solve practical problems for dental teams.
• Own projects from early development through to completion, ensuring they align with the mission to deliver real-world value to customers.
