As a Sr. Shipping & Receiving Materials Handler, you will be responsible for managing the receipt of all inbound freight and processing all outbound shipments, which include both domestic and international orders. Your tasks will involve picking, packing, staging, and shipping products from the warehouse. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, forklift operation, supply chain services, managing the availability of critical parts, supporting engineering requirements, controlling inventory, and providing customer service support to Magic Leap's remote facilities. Location: This position requires being fully on-site at our Austin, TX facility, to ensure seamless collaboration and hands-on support for daily operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in warehousing or material handling.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required. Additional training in Logistics, supply chain management, or business administration is a plus
  • Skilled in packaging and palletizing high-value or fragile products.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive).
  • Strong collaboration skills and attention to detail in documentation and inventory control.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical and reconciliation tasks accurately.
  • Physically able to stand, walk, and work in a warehouse environment for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the receipt, verification, and documentation of all inbound and outbound shipments in SAP or the Material Receipt Tool.
  • Pick, pack, stage, and ship domestic and international orders, ensuring accurate documentation (invoices, BOLs, packing slips, labels).
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely; maintain 7S standards and cleanliness in all warehouse areas.
  • Replenish inventory using the FIFO method and resolve discrepancies in coordination with Purchasing and Finance.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and timely reporting of out-of-stock items.
  • Create and manage import/export documentation and coordinate with carriers to resolve shipping delays.
  • Support Engineering and Sales by processing kitting requests and managing consumables.
  • Secure and track intellectual property (IP) collateral and manage returns.
  • Participate in safety training and cross-functional initiatives to enhance warehouse processes.
