Primary Purpose Performs and/or manages activities relating to planning, designing, building, and maintaining IT services, projects, portfolios, products and processes. Creates and assigns detailed tasks to subordinates. Has budget responsibility for a small project, sub-project or process component. Expected to work under minimal supervision. Prepare formation of IT solution strategies to solve significant business opportunities and or problems. Coordinate planning and delivery of business solutions. Design alternatives, manages expectations, and captures and represents customer requirements. Assist innovation to drive new business opportunities and solve complex business problems. Management specific to area of accountability. Responsible and accountable for overall project performance for projects, subprojects, processes, modern technology programs, information technology and organizational initiatives. Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate project requirements. Primary communicator with the sponsor and key stakeholders on project issues, including executive level and interdepartmental presentations. Ensures a good working relationship between the project team, internal resources, vendors, and interfacing organizations. Coaches and leads team members to ensure completion of assigned tasks. Ensures project team members understand their respective responsibilities. Detect, track, and resolve software defects and inconsistencies. Analyze user stories and use cases requirements for validity and feasibility as needed. Create test plans, support training plans relative to testing, and develop test scripts as needed. Execute a variety of testing phases efforts (including System Integration, System Acceptance, Regression and User Acceptance etc.). Assist with our testing team's transition into automation testing. Perform database testing and querying as needed. Coordinate and or support project partners with other test phases (Performance etc.) Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). For this position, will need to be able to commute within Chicago/Oakbrook Terrace (IL), Newark (DE), Baltimore or Philadelphia service areas. No relocation is offered/available.
