Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in Agile project management or Scrum Master roles
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification such as PMI-ACP or SAFe Scrum Master
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills with proven ability to coach and mentor team members
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working with development teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services or financial markets technology environments
  • Advanced Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
  • Experience with scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus
  • Background in software development or technical project management with an understanding of DevOps practices

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews to ensure team productivity and continuous improvement
  • Coach development teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices while removing impediments that block team progress
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring clear requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Present sprint progress, metrics, and team performance to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Drive process improvements and innovation in Agile practices to enhance team efficiency and delivery quality
  • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous learning within cross-functional teams
