Job Description U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Technology Architect with strategic analysis and enterprise-wide technology experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 10 years experience with the concepts, philosophies and tools behind the design of applications, information and underlying information technologies.
  • At least 10 years experience with developing and implementing applications.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, including Sales/Service Cloud, data modeling, security, and governor limits
  • Proven ability to design scalable, enterprise solutions translating complex business needs into technical architectures
  • Strong command of Salesforce declarative and programmatic capabilities (Flows, Apex, Lightning, Visualforce)
  • Experience designing and governing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools, and Salesforce integration patterns
  • Architectural experience with identity management, data migration, and large data volume (LDV) solutions
  • Experience establishing DevOps, CI/CD, and release governance using Git, Salesforce DX, and Metadata API
  • This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

  • Salesforce Architect certifications (System or Application Architect) preferred
  • Ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable full-stack solutions integrating Salesforce with other systems.
  • Lead architectural discussions, decisions, and documentation for Salesforce and related technologies.
  • Oversee the Salesforce development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Guide and mentor development teams on Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and frameworks.
  • Manage Salesforce environments, including sandbox and production deployments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce features, limitations, and roadmaps to advise on future projects.
  • Develop and enforce best practices and standards for Salesforce development and architecture.
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-ons for adoption into Salesforce and full-stack development projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Salesforce and associated full-stack applications.
