About The Position

Sentara Health is looking to hire a Remote Senior Sales & Client Specialist- Large Group. This is a remote position however candidates must reside in Northen Virginia, Washington DC and/or Southern Maryland area. Travel may be required on a quarterly basis throughout the commonwealth of Virginia. Support (Sr.) sales executive and/or (Sr.) (Regional) client executive in producing and retaining profitable business in the large group segment. Interact with consultants, brokers, benefit administrators and Optima Health business units to achieve these objectives. Conduct group educational meetings with members and prospective members as requested. Demonstrate knowledge about health insurance products, basic underwriting principles, self-funded arrangements and PPACA provisions impacting the Large Employer segment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (required) or HS grad and 5 years related experience. Related years of experience includes Business Acumen, Customer Relation, Employee Benefits, Health Insurance Industry or related field.
  • 5 years Related years of experience includes Business Acumen, Customer Relation, Employee Benefits, Health Insurance Industry or related field.
  • Valid Virginia Driver’s license (required)
  • Must obtain an L-HIL or L-LIFEHI within 90 days of hire.
