About The Position

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position open for a Senior Roadway Engineer/Project Manager to join our transportation team. Responsibilities include serving as the project manager on turn-key projects; maintaining budgets, scopes, and schedules; leading roadway design tasks from preliminary to final design; developing and reviewing plan sets, quantity estimates and reports; leading proposals, scopes of work and fee estimates; performing QA/QC tasks; and mentoring project staff. Requirements

  • A PE license in any state with ability to obtain in West Virginia within six months of start date
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, environmental, or related engineering from an accredited school or college and at least eighteen years of relevant work experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Some travel

  • Project management including scheduling, establishing budgets, preparing invoices, and client relations
  • Broad transportation engineering projects across multiple disciplines
  • Design build projects
  • Corridor modeling and/or ORD modeling
