As a Senior Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer, you will be a technical expert in designing, developing, and testing advanced RF systems for complex aerospace and defense projects. You will drive innovation in RF front-end design, radio propagation modeling, and microwave path analysis, ensuring the successful delivery of state-of-the-art solutions. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in RF engineering or a related role.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Thorough understanding of engineering principles and practices, including various RF modeling, analysis techniques, and tools
• Progressive Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of industry standard RF principles as they apply to design, analysis, and test.
• Understanding of techniques to perform RF analysis such as Cosite, E3 integration, link budgets, and antenna patterns.
• Experience with analysis software applications such as ANSYS HFSS, ANSYS EMIT, ANSYS SAVANT/SBR+, Python, and MATLAB.
• Capable of developing substantiation documentation to demonstrate compliance to related requirements and industry standards to include test plans/reports, analysis documents, and compliance checklists.
• Experience with RF test equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers and Signal Generators
• Experience in designing and verifying to MIL-STD-464 and test procedures of MIL-STD-461.
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, US Department of Defense and/or US Military
• Knowledgeable of industry standard RF assemblies and component selection and developing technical specifications

Responsibilities

• Electromagnetic simulations of complex antennas, materials, and geometries
• Leading other engineers by assigning and reviewing technical work
• Supporting RF test events such as RF cable measurements, antenna VSWR, RF spectrum measurements, etc.
• Meeting with vendors/subcontractors, defining RF requirements, and providing technical guidance
