About The Position

JOB DUTIES: Cellular & 5G Technology Leadership Lead integration of cellular modules and define migration strategies toward 5G. Lead technical direction for cellular architecture across product platforms. Partner with silicon vendors and module suppliers to ensure performance, certification readiness, and technology alignment. Support carrier certification and global regulatory approvals (FCC, PTCRB, CE, etc.). Battery & Power System Architecture Provide technical leadership on battery system architecture, including both primary and rechargeable (Li-ion) battery implementation. Define rechargeable battery integration, charging architecture, protection design, and lifecycle considerations. Ensure compliance with applicable agency and regulatory requirements. Cost Optimization Drive cost-effective design decisions across cellular and battery implementations while maintaining performance, safety, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cellular development.
• 5+ years of experience on cellular certification and carrier requirements approvals.
• Experience with battery safety standards and agency compliance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience implementing primary and rechargeable battery systems in connected devices.
• Experience in security, alarm, or connected IoT devices.
• Experience planning or executing 5G migration strategies.
• Familiarity with global carrier approval processes.
• Experience supporting cost/BOM optimization in high-volume products.
• Experience working with global manufacturing partners.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions.
