About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. Research Project Coordinator II who will complete a range of tasks in support of the PIRL lab in the Department of Sociology. In particular, our work prioritizes the often-unheard voices of families, children and youth living in the “Other America” and considers their experiences to be expert knowledge that advances our research to improve policy and practice. Work is done using multiple social scientific methods, often in conjunction, including qualitative data collection and analysis via semi-structured interviews, structural micro-econometric modeling and estimation, and statistical analysis of large-scale administrative data, among other approaches. This position will include a variety of tasks in support of our overall mission. The Sr. Research Project Coordinator II oversees the administrative and technical implementation of complex and/or multiple research projects. As part of the research team, collaborates with faculty to develop project plan(s), develop SOPs, and oversee all research-related activities for one or more complex projects.
