About The Position

Amyx is seeking to hire a Senior Requirements SME. The Senior Requirements SME will provide analytical, technical, and administrative support for day-to-day activities and surge activities as it relates to the mission for the Agency requirements management process at DTRA. This shall include support to the Agency process to identify, analyze, adjudicate, and document requirements.

Requirements

  • Must possess a masters degree.
  • Must obtain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI.
  • Must have a minimal of 8 years of experience supporting DTRA.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Government and international partner efforts to counter and deter WMD and emerging threats.
  • Knowledge of DoD Strategic Guidance and associated documents.
  • Ability to coordinate and reach consensus with other organizations and directorates.
  • Knowledge of JCIDS requirements processes supporting major initiatives; requirements generation and capability development, or similar efforts requiring joint military operations expertise.
  • Knowledgeable of Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) and other staff action tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Analytical, technical, or administrative support expertise related to CWMD/CBRNE/Consequence Management and/or other DoD-related missions and activities preferred.
  • DTRA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes and oversees the creation and staffing of requirements and related documentation; support study elements, adjudicate comments, facilitate document development and coordination across organizations, and determine the implications of changes using knowledge of DoD JCIDS requirements processes.
  • Receive Combatant Command Requirement and Request Letters and other joint force requirements and requests for analysis, in coordination with the applicable directorates, to determine Agency validation.
  • Receive, log, analyze, and curate Agency capability force requests (CFR). Integrate CFRs that drive Operations, Activities, and Investments for the Agency.
  • Support coordination of JCIDS actions within DTRA and between DTRA and the Joint Staff J8.
  • Supervises junior contractor employees working for the same business entity.
  • Confers with managers to obtain additional information or to interpret policies and procedures related to requirements.
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information
  • Knowledgeable of Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) and other staff action tools.
