About The Position

York Space Systems is seeking a Senior Recruiter to join the Talent Acquisition team. This strategic role supports hiring for mid-to-senior career level positions, many of which are highly specialized and mission-critical. The Senior Recruiter owns the development and maintenance of pipelines for niche talent and collaborates with hiring teams to define profiles and strengthen organizational capacity. In addition to core recruitment responsibilities, this role promotes an environment of continuous improvement and actively seeks to establish and enhance talent acquisition processes and strategies. This position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by securing the specialized talent that drives innovation and advances York’s leadership in the aerospace industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and ten or more years of recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in advanced sourcing strategies, including engaging and converting passive candidates.
  • High level of discernment to identify top talent and align candidates with organizational needs.
  • Skilled at building relationships and maintaining talent pipelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities and deliver results.
  • Analytic skills to identify data trends to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced understanding of compensation.
  • Brings a continuous improvement mindset to optimize process and enhance candidate experience.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
  • Ability to work full-time in office.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Dayforce is a plus.
  • Experience recruiting technical talent or within aerospace industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive full cycle recruiting for senior and specialized roles, often technical and specialized profiles
  • Source and engage passive candidates though customized sourcing techniques, building and leveraging networks and direct outreach.
  • Build capacity in hiring teams to deep their skills in selection, assessment and talent strategies.
  • Ensure a seamless and positive experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Provide insights on talent trends, talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and competitive landscape to influence hiring decisions.
  • Utilize advanced compensation knowledge in crafting offers.
  • Ensure timely communication and updates for both hiring teams and candidates, while maintaining organized records and documentation throughout the recruitment process.
  • Contribute to metrics gathering and identify candidate and market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and apply best practices to strengthen experience for hiring teams and candidates.
