About The Position
We are looking for a Senior Quality System Engineer to help maintain and improve our Quality Management System (QMS) for aerospace production. You will lead audits, support special processes (Heat Treat, NDT, Coatings), drive corrective actions, and ensure we meet AS9100, NADCAP, FAA, and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical field
- 10+ years of quality engineering in aerospace
- Expert on Quality management system (QMS)
- Strong experience with AS9100 and NADCAP
- Knowledge of SPC, PFMEA, control plans, metrology, and inspection systems
- Experience working under FAA oversight
- Ability to lead audits and complex corrective actions
Nice To Haves
- ASQ CQE or Six Sigma certification
- Lean/continuous improvement experience
- Strong communication and project management skills
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the AS9100‑compliant QMS
- Support FAA, customer, NADCAP, and internal audits
- Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions
- Oversee special process compliance ( Heat Treat, NDT, Coating s)
- Manage quality data, metrics, and customer portal submissions
- Support FAI/AS9102, inspection planning, and MRB activities
- Train and mentor quality team members
- Work with suppliers on quality and process issues
