What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for interfacing with Production, Program Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering, investigating non‑conformance issues, conducting hardware quality audits and foreign‑object‑elimination walk‑downs, and driving continuous‑improvement initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college in a STEM related degree or equivalent combined education / experience
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and must have an interim clearance prior to starting. Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
  • Quality discipline internship or DoD Industry internship.
  • Experience with SAP, Windchill, MPMLink

Responsibilities

  • Interfacing with Production, Program Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering personnel
  • Investigating non‑conformance issues and implementing root‑cause corrective actions
  • Conducting Hardware Quality Audits (HQAs) and Foreign Object Elimination (FOE) walk‑downs
  • Participating in product, process, and surveillance audits/assessments to identify improvement opportunities
  • Developing and executing corrective‑preventive measures based on audit findings
