About The Position

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Clearance Required in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control with badge verification and visitor guidance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and teammates, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site representatives and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, production and office areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification and/or authorization where required, and directing visitors to the appropriate check-in process.
• Complete security-related reports and activity logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and assist with investigations by documenting relevant details.
