About The Position

The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist will be a team member on a cross-functional team responsible for Food Safety & Compliance. They will drive compliance toward KDP standards as well as Federal, State, and local regulations through project management, auditing, and collaboration. The Sr Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring the KDP water testing program, government registrations and permits, and contributing to the chemicals of concern working group.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Food Engineering or related degree preferred.
• Food industry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated skill to persuade/influence both internally and externally to the function and organization.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Advanced understanding of GMP, HACCP, FSMA, Food Defense Principles & Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Previous internal audit experience & training is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Ability to Travel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor changes to federal, state, and local regulations as they impact KDP products and processes; identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Responsible for maintaining FDA Bioterrorism Registrations, CFIA Licenses, and other regulatory numbers and portals.
• Support Chemicals of Concern Working Group and Chemicals of Concern initiatives at KDP.
• Monitor and execute the KDP Water Testing Program across all manufacturing sites and co-packers.
• Drive site compliance to Corporate Standards and Programs including Food Safety, Water Quality, and Quality Culture.
• Internal Auditor across Keurig Dr Pepper Manufacturing Network.
• Complete Regulatory & Compliance review of product labels and packaging for new and existing products.
• Effectively communicate across the organization with all executive levels and operational management on compliance status.
• Support Customer Requests through Technical Services.
