About The Position

As a Sr. QA Manager in the Retail Domain, you will make an impact by leading and executing testing strategies across retail systems and platforms. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering & Assurance team and work collaboratively with onsite client stakeholders and geographically distributed teams. In this role, you will: Lead and execute functional, integration, and end-to-end testing for retail systems. Collaborate directly with onsite client teams to gather requirements and define test scenarios. Provide daily status updates and actively participate in client meetings and walkthroughs. Manage defects through tracking, reporting, and resolution processes. Support UAT testing with a focus on retail workflows. Based on this role's business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Chesapeake, Virginia. Requirements

  • Deep expertise in retail domain testing (e.g., retail operations, supply chain, digital, or merchandising).
  • Hands-on experience with functional testing for retail systems.
  • Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery models.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience testing retail applications such as RMS, WMS, POS.
  • Prior experience with Workday, Lawson Finance, or AS/400-based systems.
  • Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
