About The Position

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer / Automation Tester with deep expertise in Selenium-based functional automation testing. This role requires a strong foundation in core testing principles, hands-on automation framework development, and the ability to ensure high-quality software delivery through structured, scalable, and reliable test solutions.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
7+ years of strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation tools
7+ years of experience with Java (preferred) or C#/Python for automation scripting.
7+ years of experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of functional testing principles.
7+ years of experience with: - TestNG / JUnit / NUnit - Git & Maven / Gradle
7+ years of experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
7+ years of API testing experience (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).
Strong SQL knowledge for backend validation.
Ability to independently manage and deliver testing for a feature/module.
7+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong understanding of: - Test case design techniques (Boundary Value, Equivalence Partitioning) - Test planning and strategy, Regression strategy - Risk-based testing
Prior State Client Experience is Mandatory

Nice To Haves

7 Years of Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
7 Years of Experience with Selenium Grid / parallel execution.
7 Years of Experience testing cloud-based applications (Azure/AWS).
7 Years of Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter).
5 Years of Experience with containerization (Docker).
5 Years of Exposure to DevOps practices and shift-left testing.
5 Years of Experience in microservices architecture testing.
5 Years of Knowledge of security testing basics.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium.
Build and enhance automation frameworks (data-driven, hybrid, or BDD).
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Analyze business requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects to clarify requirements.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives).
Perform API testing (manual and automated).
Conduct defect tracking, root cause analysis, and impact assessment.
Ensure CI/CD pipeline integration of automation suites.
Provide test coverage analysis and quality metrics reporting.
