About The Position

As a Sr. QA Automation Test Engineer (Playwright with TypeScript), you will make an impact by ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust automation frameworks and testing strategies. You will be a valued member of the QA team and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to drive excellence in testing. In this role, you will: • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand enterprise tech stacks and develop automation solutions. • Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. • Analyze and troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and provide solutions. • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability. • Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and tools. Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in test automation development using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with advanced SQL queries and data validation.
  • Exposure to cloud environments and containerization tools.
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to mentor junior QA engineers.
