Overview JOB SUMMARY The Sr. Purchasing Specialist for Healthcare Delivery is responsible for the procurement process for equipment, goods, and services, pertaining to Healthcare and clinical services, to obtain the best value for the organization while providing an open and fair process for qualified vendors. The Sr. Purchasing Specialist for Healthcare Delivery is responsible for requisitioning and ordering Healthcare and Clinical supplies, equipment, and services by using, interpreting, and monitoring guidelines, rules, policies, and laws. The Sr. Purchasing Specialist for Healthcare Delivery provides guidance, to the Healthcare Delivery team members, regarding procurement policies and procedures. Supports the Procurement team and department leaders to meet organizational priorities, supports the development of informal bids and formal solicitations, reviews departmental requests for Healthcare Delivery/Clinical departments, and communicates with vendors on behalf of Central Health. Hybrid = Individuals in this position may work both at an approved off-site location and onsite at a primary location or multiple locations based on business needs
