About The Position

The Senior Project Manager provides project management experience to designated projects and assignments for a particular client account, property portfolio, or large facility/complex through interaction with the client, property or facility management team, and project management staff Job Description Summary The Senior Client Representative / Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale and complex real estate projects from concept through completion. This role serves as the primary liaison between the client and project teams, ensuring successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and aligned with client objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in project management, financial oversight, and stakeholder coordination within the real estate and construction sectors. This is a hybrid position requiring candidates to reside in Southern Los Angeles or Orange County. Regular client visits are part of the role, so only applicants from these areas will be considered.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive project management experience in real estate development, construction, or capital projects.
  • Proven track record managing large and/or complex capital initiatives from concept through completion.
  • Strong proficiency in: Project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, Procore)
  • Budget development and financial management
  • Contract administration (AIA, GMP, Design-Build)
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for executive-level reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $10M–$50M.
  • Knowledge of LEED, WELL, or other sustainability certifications.
  • Familiarity with entitlement processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to handle scope changes and maintain project alignment.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Leadership and mentorship experience with junior project managers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, and closeout.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and expectations.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, including internal stakeholders, architects, engineers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard tools.
  • Lead Owner-Architect-Contractor (AOC) and internal meetings, ensuring accurate documentation through detailed meeting minutes.
  • Prepare Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates based on limited conceptual information.
  • Manage project budgets with proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), cost control, and forecasting.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively.
  • Ensure adherence to local building codes, permitting processes, and sustainability standards.
