This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients. SRC is searching for a well-rounded Project Manager to lead project planning and scheduling, budget management, change management, and quality assurance (QA) for the installation requirements for United States Space Command (USSPACECOM)command and control facilities. Manages and coordinates integrated master schedule (IMS), project tasks, and resource management by engaging with functional area managers (FAMs) and other project and systems engineers to ensure installed cabling will support proper systems integration throughout the space. Work supporting USSPACECOM will be conducted at the government's facilities in Colorado Springs, CO.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience as project manager supporting a DOD program of similar size and scope ($40M-50M, 35-40 personnel)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or IT related field and at least five years of experience managing a program ofsimilar in size and scope ($40M-50M, 35-40 personnel)
  • Management experience in an enterprise-level (minimum of 1k users) DOD C4I/IT environment
  • Possess IAT/IAM Level II or greater (e.g. Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)
  • An active TS/SCI is required
  • Ability to support other duties as required by government

Responsibilities

  • Developing comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, milestones, deliverables, and timelines
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with USSPACECOM objectives and requirements
  • Creating and managing the project budget, ensuring funds are allocated appropriately and efficiently
  • Monitoring expenditures and ensuring the project stays within financial constraints
  • Serving as the primary point of contact between the project team and USSPACECOM stakeholders
  • Facilitating regular meetings and providing updates on project status, risks, and changes
  • Implementing quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet USSPACECOM standards and specifications
  • Conducting regular reviews and audits to maintain high-quality project outputs
  • Overseeing the selection, negotiation, and management of vendors and contractors
  • Ensuring external partners meet contractual obligations and performance standards
  • Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and budget through formal change control processes
  • Ensuring that any changes are communicated and approved by stakeholders
  • Maintaining detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and records
  • Preparing and submitting regular progress reports to USSPACECOM leadership and other relevant parties
