Role Summary: We’re hiring a Senior Project Manager to support delivery of a large-scale government digital transformation initiative focused on service design, user research, and business discovery. This role sits at the intersection of project delivery, service design, and cross-functional coordination, supporting a multi-disciplinary team working across complex business functions and user groups. We’re looking for someone with a min of 4+ years of project management experience and ideally experience working in consulting or client-service environments, where managing multiple stakeholders, ambiguity, and evolving requirements is part of the day-to-day. PMP designation is considered a strong asset. Those with experience working with government clients and/or managing Service Design projects are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You’ll ensure deliverables are coordinated, risks are identified early, and work moves forward in a structured, thoughtful way, all while keeping both the team and client aligned.

Requirements

  • Min. 4+ years of experience in project management roles (PMP Designation an Asset)
  • Experience working in consulting, advisory, or client-facing environments
  • Strong ability to build and manage project schedules, deliverables, and scope
  • Comfortable identifying risks early and navigating ambiguity
  • Clear, structured communicator who can translate complexity into action
  • Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and keeping work on track
  • Ability to manage competing priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary service design work aimed at mapping current state and identifying opportunities for improved future-state service delivery
  • Support the development and execution of project plans, including schedules, deliverables, and scope
  • Coordinate across the team to ensure deliverables are completed on time and aligned with client and government standards
  • Lead development and ongoing management of implementation plans, including: Quality control plans Communication plans Knowledge transfer plans
  • Keep work moving forward across multiple streams without things slipping through the cracks
  • Ensure deliverables are structured, complete, and aligned with expectations
  • Proactively identify risks and issues before they become problems
  • Develop practical mitigation strategies and keep stakeholders informed
  • Clearly articulate priorities and trade-offs when things get complex
  • Support a collaborative, well-aligned team environment across disciplines
  • Resolve resourcing or interpersonal challenges as they arise
  • Ensure everyone understands what we’re trying to achieve and how their work connects to it
