Requirements

  • Experience managing projects using the agile methodology or agile certification.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint with ability to update spreadsheets and to perform intermediate calculations in Excel.
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Word templates to create Change Orders and project artifacts and deliverables
  • Advanced experience creating project schedules.
  • Customer oriented with ability to listen to and anticipate needs of the customer.
  • Attention to detail in composing, keying, and proofing professional business materials
  • Proven project management experience creating project artifacts including charters, budgets, rosters, risk registers, mitigation plans, schedules, and communication plans
  • Proven experience with requirements gathering related to projects
  • Working knowledge of data analysis with ability to provide project insight
  • Excellent written communication skills with ability to compose professional business communications via email, letter, and proposals
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present professional demonstrations
  • Adaptable with ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities
  • Creative with ability to develop original solutions to problems
  • Decisive with ability to make a prompt determination and substantiate decision if challenged
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) required

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate project management services for higher profile, larger, and complex service delivery projects
  • Develops relevant project artifacts to deliver contractual services utilizing judgment and discretion based on the agreed deliverables
  • Utilizes and manages internal resources and third-party service providers to fulfill project expectations
  • Proactively manages, controls, and drives project scope, budget, and schedule
  • Proactively mitigates risks and issues
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Acts as a primary point of contact
  • Mentor and lead less experienced project managers
  • Drives process improvement within the PMO
  • May manage internal company projects
  • Assist sales opportunities per request and in conjunction with the Sales team and Manager
  • Works with Product Management, Business Development, partners, and engineers to create complex solution offerings
  • Demonstrated experience in managing CAPEX and OPEX
