About The Position

The Senior Project Manager oversees project management staff within the Markets to ensure the successful implementation of programs, clinic startups/divestitures and initial assimilation of providers into IPM. In addition, they manage local issues related to practice acquisition projects in conjunction with the local senior leadership team. The Senior Project Manager provides leadership and direction to the project management staff during project implementations and ensures timely communication to stakeholders on key deadlines. Functions as a consultant on initiatives and provides solutions to maximize available resources. Works collaboratively with physicians, practice managers/administrators and staff, hospital leadership, and market leadership to support the market’s strategic growth and program development. Functions as a consultant on initiatives and provides solutions to maximize available resources. They must be able to successfully communicate across a wide spectrum of audiences, lead change initiatives, 2 have strong financial and organizational skills and be able to function effectively with multiple priorities. This position Reports to the Regional Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health or Business Administration along with a professional certification in project coordination is required.
  • Three to five years of physician practice business leadership experience or healthcare management experience is required.
  • Multitasking, decision making, process improvement, project management, interpersonal, communication, leadership, computer proficiency, excellent customer service and business savvy.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s degree in health or business administration and/or certification by the American College of Medical Practice Executives is preferred.
