About The Position

This role manages construction projects to ensure completion within established timeframes and budget constraints. It involves overseeing financial budgets, coordinating with contractors, and managing construction schedules and materials. The role requires supervising multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations. Success is measured by timely project completion, budget adherence, and effective communication with stakeholders. The work impacts organizational operations by delivering completed construction spaces ready for operational use and supporting local teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • In-depth understanding of the construction industry
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
  • Organized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software
  • Knowledge of how local, state, and federal building code regulations work

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar position in construction management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial budgets and cost estimates to support construction project planning and execution
  • Develop construction projects by collaborating with architects, landlords, general contractors, and trade workers
  • Coordinate and manage schedules for contractors and subcontractors to maintain project timelines
  • Oversee construction progress and provide reports on timelines, progress, and necessary adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, building codes, safety inspections, and local regulations
  • Communicate project timelines and store opening dates to local field teams to align expectations
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
