Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or: Licensure as a Professional Engineer, with 2+ years of progressive experience.
  • Engineering and project management experience within a regulated environment.
  • Analytical problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of engineering practices, standards, design principles, and environmental requirements Knowledge of manufacturing and packaging of consumer goods
  • Project management skills with the ability to lead or support the execution of projects Demonstrated ability to lead a cross functional team
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, be pro-active, and communicate effectively with team members and management Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.) and the ability to quickly learn new computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • SAP and AutoCad experience (Desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated proficiency in functional processes, technology, and engineering practices.
  • Engage with internal business partners to ensure that technical decisions are based on the broad vision of the organization and achieve optimum results.
  • Develop and ensure appropriate timelines, milestones, cost estimates, and project objectives are achieved
  • Identify, evaluate, specify, and select appropriate technologies, vendors, and construction services consistent with short-term and long-term requirements
  • Assist with negotiations with third party suppliers and equipment manufacturers in the development, evaluation, coordination, and resolution of issues.
  • Ensure project evaluations and implementations are in line with economic, personnel, environmental, product quality, machine performance, and engineering related requirements.
  • Identify and drive innovative solutions to address business/process opportunities and issues.
  • Develops partnership with external vendors, agencies, suppliers, and service providers to drive business success and enhance effectiveness of processes.
