About The Position

As a Sr. Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and installation of projects. Your role will be a senior active member of the Engineering community, site technical team, the local engineering team, and assigned project team(s). Additionally, you will be responsible for deploying his/her engineering know-how to successfully execute and deliver projects to the business that provide a competitive advantage. The role will either be based out of Elizabethtown, PA or require travel to there as well as potentially any of our major sites across North America. Ideal candidate sits at Elizabethtown or could be at one of our Mars Wrigley sites (Hackettstown, NJ - Cleveland, TN - or Topeka, KS) with increased travel required. Approximately 20-50% travel requirement depending on project demands. This associate will concentrate on infrastructure (buildings) and utilities, as well as manage other portfolio programs within the team for the North American region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical
  • 7-10 years’ experience in a comparable technical position - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry
  • Proficiency in understanding engineering principals - knowledge of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction or Construction Management
  • In-depth understanding of designated functional engineering area of expertise – Infrastructure and Sustainability
