Requirements

  • University degree, diploma or related construction or engineering experience.
  • 6 or more years of previous related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Note without a degree, you are required to have 9 years of experience.
  • Effective communication both verbally and in written form.
  • This includes the ability to work well with peers, internal and external partners.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and to work with minimal level of supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional designation and/or AACE certification are assets.
  • Advance knowledge of related Microsoft Office software, Ecosys, Oracle, enterprise structure and standard project control procedures, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting information for project cost estimates, establishing control budgets, monitoring and control of incurred project costs, cost forecasting, cost variance analysis and cost reporting to various internal partners.
  • Provide capital cost control, analysis, and reporting requirements for multiple complex and multi-disciplined major projects.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for and provide support to project management team members and stakeholders regarding the cost status of their respective project budgets.
  • Widen and apply expertise by broadening alliances and working relationships with a broad cross-section of partners, both within and beyond Core Projects business unit.
