About The Position

The Sr. Program Manager will be part of Amazon's Middle Mile Transportation Technology team, focusing on building complex software solutions to optimize the delivery of packages. This role involves program management for supply optimization, working with business stakeholders to drive process improvements, and utilizing advanced analytical skills to deliver insights to senior leadership. The position requires both strategic and tactical leadership, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making and collaboration across multiple teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Responsibilities

• Creating and implementing data driven improvements to Amazon's transportation network that deliver flexible and efficient products for our customers
• End-to-end ownership of requirements gathering, documentation, planning, and implementation of cost-effective solutions for Amazon transportation network
• Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams in operations, technology and planning to define strategic roadmaps while keeping the impact of the solution to all stakeholders in mind
• Designing and implementing feedback mechanisms to drive performance and cost improvement in processes
• Ability to deep dive and do root-cause analysis using data, and create metrics-driven, actionable, and sustainable solutions for the future
• Monitor key performance indicators across nodes and analyze their drivers to determine the level and type of engagement required based on the risk to customer experience and utilization of technology
