About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Sr Program Manager to work out of our Muray, UT Office . The successful candidate will support the growth and delivery of the transit-rail practice in Utah and throughout Greater West region. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow the Transit Practice in collaboration with the AECOM Transit Leadership Team. Provide leadership to Client Account Managers to drive client development and pursuit processes based on proven capture techniques. Promote the marketing and delivery of all AECOM services to clients within the Rockies Area (i.e. RTD, CDOT, Valley Metro, MAG, ADOT, UTA, UDOT, etc.) by working with our Client Account Managers and project managers. Recruit top talent to expand the Practice. Mentor and develop the technical abilities of staff within the Practice. Build strong relationships with key clients and successfully secure projects to drive growth. Resolve complex issues and challenges that arise within the Practice. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, taking full responsibility for project delivery. Regularly develop and assess project plans for feasibility and efficiency. Collaborate with clients to deliver sustainable, long-term transit solutions.

Requirements

  • BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • BS and/or MS degree in engineering, planning, or relevant field.
  • 20+ years of progressive experience in the transit field, with an emphasis on project delivery and building client relationships.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to build productive working relationships within AECOM and with global project teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in pursuing and winning opportunities.
  • Proven experience in leading and building multidisciplinary teams.
  • Interest and capability in taking on Project Management duties, including schedule and budget control, client contact, and proposal writing.
  • Experience in client service, marketing, and business development.
