About The Position

Sr. Program Manager1 Responsibilities: Drive success of the project from start to finish Partner with third party implementation project manager to maintain committed deliverables and timelines Manage, review and prioritize customer project tasks to meet committed deliverables and timeline Collect, assess and drive mitigation plan definition and execution for any project risks and issues Participate in creation of and approve project plans as required Participate in weekly status calls with third party vendor Provide status and progress reviews to the executive team Prepare UAT testing plan and schedule and monitor UAT progress Prepare go live readiness assessment from client perspective Jointly drive cutover activities with implementation PM Review and gain approval for requested project artifacts (Design documents, SIT test evidence, etc.) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information technology, computer science, engineering, business or related courses At least 18 years of direct experience in Project Management and Program Leadership with proven record of success PMI-PMP, PMI-PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification CSM or SAFe certification a plus Prosci, CCMP, or similar qualification a plus Able to collaborate with client stakeholders, including business analysts, business users, architects, client relations, project managers, sponsors and C level executive teams Skilled in project progress and metrics reporting for project teams through executives Able to use various project management methodologies, including agile and waterfall Experienced in balancing critical issue resolution and competing priorities Lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Demonstrates the ability to drive a collaborative and transparent working environment. Proactively manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal impact on project objectives. Expertise in developing detailed program/project execution plan and managing all implementation processes including budget management, resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints, and quickly establish yourself as a go-to leader within IT.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information technology, computer science, engineering, business or related courses
  • At least 18 years of direct experience in Project Management and Program Leadership with proven record of success
  • PMI-PMP, PMI-PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification
  • Able to collaborate with client stakeholders, including business analysts, business users, architects, client relations, project managers, sponsors and C level executive teams
