About The Position

Sub Same Day (SSD) is looking for a Sr. Program Manager with a delivery record
and proven program management experience to own a significantly complex and
cross-organization building design initiative for our faster than Same Day
fulfillment centers. Robust understanding of fulfillment operations, including
under-the-roof and on-the-road processes, engineering product solutions and
development of long term roadmaps will be conducive in delivering innovations .
This role will play a critical role in designing the future building design
solutions for the Sub-Same Day business. It requires a high-level of ownership
over the strategic design and implementation, the ability to think outside of
the box, willingness to disrupt the current processes to create a new process,
the ability to understand one-way vs two-way doors, make trade-off decisions and
influence stakeholders. This role will scope highly complex building design and
automation solutions, identify risks/opportunities in strategies, effectively
force multiple and communicate to senior management to accelerating business
progress.

Requirements

• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
• Confidence operating in a highly ambiguous and iterative business space
• High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Willingness to challenge and influence big leaders
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
• Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Master's degree, or Master's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

• Driving innovation that improves the under-the-roof processes and continuously removes cost from our fulfillment and delivery network
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to plan, organize, execute, and standardize complex projects to achieve 2026 variable cost and quality goals
• Gathering and analyzing data across fulfillment and delivery functions to establish global standards for operations and other cross functional teams
• Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward opportunities
• Developing Amazon best practices for internal operations
• Leveraging analytics to support the future state of the business
