Sr Program Manager, On -Road Safety
About The Position
Amazon is looking for an experienced and certified LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt Senior Program Manager to join the NA Surface Transportation Safety & Compliance team. This role requires at least 8 years of program or project management experience, with a strong focus on using data and metrics to drive improvements. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related field and be well -versed in safety management systems and work -process simplification. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for identifying opportunities and implementing scalable data -centric solutions to enhance safety and compliance. This role involves collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders, including business, tech, and operations partners, to improve on -road safety across middle -mile operations. The candidate should be adept at working in an entrepreneurial environment, navigating ambiguity, and managing competing priorities. An MBA or Master's in a quantitative field, along with experience in project/product management or program management, is preferred. The position is open to candidates in multiple locations, including Nashville, TN, Phoenix, AZ, and Seattle, WA.
