Position Summary EBI is seeking a full-time Senior Program Manager to conduct and review both equity level Acquisition Property Condition Reports (APCR) and Capital Needs Assessments (CNAs), and debt level Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), as well as other applicable service types, as needed. APCRs are specialized assessments and deliver a significantly higher standard than a traditional ASTM-level report. APCRs provide real estate investors with actionable information that drives the best investment decisions and customized, relevant solutions based on solid comprehension of the property condition. Our consulting requires greater collaboration between our specialist team and our clients, defining and executing a scope of work unique to the project needs. The successful candidate will complete technical review of a range of report types across various real estate property types, effectively communicate findings and recommendation to client teams, manage and oversee portfolio projects ranging in size and complexity. Reporting may also include specialized evaluation of structural systems, roofing, MEP, façade, and other building components. This position reports directly to the Senior Technical Director, Real Estate PCA Services and will be a remote, work from home position. This position calls for travel to conduct site visits and/or meet with clients on an occasional basis, but will also split time to review reports from a home office. While this position could e located anywhere near a major airport, preference will be paid towards candidates located in the Northeast. Candidates must have previous experience with travel and be comfortable with this model to be considered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in architecture, engineering, construction, or related field
  • Significant professional experience in engineering and due diligence consulting and/or ten or more years in architecture, construction, facilities management, or other real estate consulting service
  • This position requires technical writing responsibilities and direct interactions with clients. The successful candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Valid drivers license and registered vehicle required
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, and knowledge of Quire (report writing platform)
  • Candidates must have previous experience with travel and be comfortable with this model to be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license is preferred, however, not required
  • Specialized expertise in significant building components such as structural systems, roofing, facades, and/or mechanical systems is desirable
  • While this position could e located anywhere near a major airport, preference will be paid towards candidates located in the Northeast.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Quality Assurance/Quality Control Reviews for a wide variety of real estate property types; including but not limited to office, retail, multifamily, hospitality, and industrial
  • Prepare deliverables with quality supporting documentation (site figures, appendices)
  • Assessment reporting will address the current condition of significant building and site components (i.e., foundations, framing, roof, façade, HVAC, etc.), evaluate effective useful life of key components, and address the need and timing of replacement and/or repair
  • Coordinate, review, and incorporate findings from related specialty/subcontractor reports
  • Serve as project manager through successful collaboration with client, subject matter experts, and team members
  • Communicate with Clients following submission of Status, Draft, and Final Reports
