You are comfortable serving as the senior leader on shift and coordinating cross‑functional support when needed. As a Senior Production Supervisor, you will provide direct leadership to production employees to achieve safe, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing results. You will serve as the senior operational authority on shift, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure alignment with Mennel’s mission, food safety standards, and operational goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Industrial Technology, or Supply Chain preferred
  • 3–5 years of manufacturing or operations experience required
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritize work, and make timely operational decisions
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Responsibilities

  • Leading and supervising production employees to meet daily targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Sanitation
  • Serving as the senior leader on shift, making sound decisions and responding to incidents when department managers are not onsite
  • Coordinating daily staffing and allocating resources to support safe and efficient operations
  • Coaching and supporting front‑line supervisors and lead operators to ensure consistent execution of procedures
  • Monitoring manufacturing processes and system performance; identifying and addressing operational issues
  • Tracking, documenting, and communicating shift performance metrics and KPIs
  • Supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/TPM, Redzone, and loss tracking)
  • Ensuring employees are properly trained and qualified per established training programs
  • Providing performance feedback through coaching and documentation; addressing concerns in partnership with management and HR
  • Fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, communication, and problem‑solving
  • Coordinating with Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve issues and support shift operations
  • Ensuring compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining an everyday audit‑ready facility
  • Performing other duties as assigned
