About The Position

Hertz is one of the largest global mobility organizations and is currently undergoing a significant digital transformation. Hertz is committed to becoming an essential component of the modern mobility ecosystem which includes leading in digital-first customer experience, shared mobility and electrification. We are seeking a Sr Product Manager – Insurance Replacement Systems to lead enhancements and modernization efforts for Hertz’s Insurance Replacement product portfolio. This role will focus on improving systems supporting body shops, insurance carriers, replacement workflows, billing, and partner integrations. You will collaborate closely with Insurance Operations, Sales, Fleet, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and revenue-optimized solutions. You will drive improvements across: Insurance reservation intake workflows Rate and contract management Partner integrations (insurance carriers, DRP networks) Billing accuracy and claim reconciliation Operational visibility and reporting Your focus will be on simplifying processes while improving cycle times and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

8+ years of Product Management experience
A 4-year degree in Computer Science or substantially similar program
Demonstrated strength in metrics driven execution.
Experience rolling out “whole” product that includes system capabilities, business processes, customer communications and organizational change
Experience with agile development methods and tools
Experience working with geographically distributed team
Strong communication skills both written and oral
Analytical skills and experience applying a data-driven approach to product definition and development
Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
Experience with Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Figma.

Nice To Haves

Experience in insurance, fleet, rental, or operational systems preferred

Responsibilities

Own roadmap and backlog for Insurance Replacement systems
Define and prioritize product features that will enable the growth and scale of Hertz’s initiatives, which is one of the major priorities of the business.
Execute against long-term product roadmap, coordinating with operations, engineering, design, and data science teams both domestically and internationally.
Work closely with the strategy, operations, and go to market teams to ensure there is a consistent and holistic approach from pilot to scaled solutions.
Communicate across constituencies: within cross-functional team, broadly within Hertz internally and external to Hertz (partners, investors, candidates, etc.)
Ensure that we have a consistent customer focus in our research, planning and decision making
Articulate and systematically test product hypotheses
Navigate complex decision-making using product data and key performance indicators
Identify and implement metrics for estimating the impact of changes to the existing risk management platforms and tools.
You will work closely with Engineering and Architecture teams to modernize rental workflows while ensuring operational reliability.
Managing backlogs across distributed teams
Translating operational requirements into scalable system capabilities
Balancing modernization with business continuity
Driving measurable improvements in rental performance
