NetApp is seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic Product Management team for Enterprise Storage Software to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for NetApp's ONTAP-based enterprise storage solutions, including ASA and AFF platforms. You will work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customers to deliver industry-leading capabilities for block storage, virtualization, and cloud integration.

  • Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise storage software, aligning with NetApp's business goals and customer needs.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements to shape product direction.
  • Work closely with product development and engineering teams to guide product direction and roadmap based on industry trends and customer insights.
  • Develop and maintain a transparent, prioritized product backlog; write detailed PRFAQ documents, user stories and product features requirements.
  • Engage directly with customers and partners, providing expert advice, best practices, and support for seamless deployments.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product and feature success; use data-driven insights to iterate and improve.
  • Perform competitive analysis and market research to stay abreast of industry developments and uncover new avenues for expansion.
  • Act as a company spokesperson at industry events, conferences, and webinars, showcasing expertise in workloads
  • Deliver training and enablement for sales and technical pre-sales teams to ensure effective customer interactions.
  • Significant experience (8+ years) in product management, technical marketing, or a related field enterprise storage or cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of delivering software-defined storage solutions.
  • Deep understanding of SAN protocols (FC, iSCSI, NVMe/TCP), storage architecture, virtualization ecosystem, database applications, high performance block workloads and cloud integration.
  • Familiarity with ONTAP or similar storage operating systems.
  • Solid understanding of SAN vendors and the ecosystem.
  • Strong experience in defining product roadmap, authoring product requirements and launching products.
  • Ability to analyze data, problem-solve, analyze trade-offs, and scope business requirements.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile development environment and manage multiple, concurrent priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • MBA preferred.
