To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What you’ll be doing As an experienced Product Manager, you will report up to the Director of Retail and Digital Platforms and be part of the US Digital, Data, and Strategy group. You’ll be accountable for leading and supporting product development and design, crafting simple and engaging product and client material, and collaborating with our partners to deliver impactful results. US Digital, Data, and Strategy provides the technology platforms that power client experiences across Private, Personal, and Digital (PP&D) and supports the expansion of personal banking platforms and self-service experiences. With a product and client first mindset, the PP&D team enables the success of consumer banking by driving incremental engagement and seamless client experiences. Requirements

  • 5+ years of banking center product management experience, with deep knowledge of banking principles and decision making.
  • Proven track record implementing banking center technology, including teller and banker desktop platforms, and leading branch technology solutions end-to-end — from requirements to deployment and optimization.
  • Interpret financial, client, and operational data to identify trends and business drivers.
  • Demonstrate strong management skills to achieve results in a matrix organization.
  • Effectively prioritize, organize, and manage competing priorities.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across Digital, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Technology, and distribution partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for candidates with FIS platform expertise, especially FIS IBS.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning and execution: Develop and deliver on strategic priorities to enhance products, drive sales through campaigns, and improve client engagement.
  • Lead initiatives from concept to launch, including design, financial assessment, development, and go-to-market readiness.
  • Product development and management: Bring 5+ years of banking center product management experience, with deep knowledge of banking principles and decision making.
  • Proven track record implementing banking center technology, including teller and banker desktop platforms, and leading branch technology solutions end-to-end — from requirements to deployment and optimization.
  • Analytical: Interpret financial, client, and operational data to identify trends and business drivers.
  • Provide insights, recommendations, and implement changes. Stay current on industry and competitive developments in the United States.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate strong management skills to achieve results in a matrix organization.
  • Effectively prioritize, organize, and manage competing priorities.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across Digital, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Technology, and distribution partners.
  • Partner with Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and vendors to translate user needs into requirements, conduct user acceptance testing, coordinate pilots, support implementation, and ensure smooth change management for banking center products.

  • This role has an expected salary range of $115,000-$145,000 Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
  • The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
