About The Position

US Prime is seeking an experienced and accomplished Senior Product Manager to lead acquisition in the US. Amazon Prime, launched in 2005, has evolved to serve diverse member cohorts. This role involves defining and implementing the product roadmap for acquiring Prime members. The Senior Product Manager will partner with Consumer Insights and Research to understand non-Prime Amazon customers and those not shopping on Amazon, driving product roadmaps to accelerate their acquisition. Responsibilities include measuring product launch performance, working with Business Intelligence teams to establish relevant metrics, and setting up mechanisms to track execution. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in leading product roadmaps, managing complex deliverables across functional stakeholders, and developing product strategies. Exceptional communication skills are required to influence senior leadership and distill complex data into strategic narratives. The candidate should be a self-starter, capable of deep diving to optimize product performance and processes, and experienced in developing win/win product solutions across different business units.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience in areas such as market research, statistics, finance or qualitative/quantitative research
  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in delivering end-to-end customer research studies, including study design, fieldwork (qualitative research moderation and survey execution), analysis, recommendations, reporting and presentation of results to senior leadership
  • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices
  • Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive product roadmaps for acquisition of Prime members for the US.
  • Partner with internal and external consumer insights and research organizations to develop insights on non-Prime customers that will inform the development of product roadmaps
  • Deep dive and report on business performance for acquisition metrics on a weekly basis
  • Partner with US Prime marketing to develop go-to-market plans for initiatives
  • Lead strategy documents and narratives for retention in leadership reviews
