About The Position

Contribute towards the vision, development, and execution of Ford's long-range mobile platform roadmap. Be responsible for a driving the roadmap of a set of products and features that fit within Mobile platform and experiences. For example, Native App Feature Enablement (like Live Activities, iOS widgets, Wearable experiences), platform foundational quality (test automation, probing, regression improvements), or future platform experimentation Collaborate with engineering and design partners, alongside fellow product managers to drive feature identification, development, and release in a highly agile environment Write clear and concise product requirements in the form of PRDs that articulate the vision, goals, and key elements of new products and features. Develop and execute user research, utilize telemetry and data analytics, and talk to internal customers to inform the discovery of new innovations within Mobile Platform. Manage & make tradeoff decisions on product features based on delivery feasibility & complexity, product viability, and desirability. Define and communicate a clear product roadmap for your space; manage delivery milestones and prioritization of trade-offs. Earn trust with others and cut through ambiguity. Established and active employee resource groups

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, Computer Science, or related field of study.
  • 3+ years of Product Management experience, having demonstrated shipped successful digital products in the past.
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering, design, or product management roles with demonstrated experience in mobile technology or platform products.
  • 3+ years of experience with end-to-end product delivery in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Proven experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition for platform components or multi-channel digital experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with iOS or Android software development
  • Strong technical acumen, capable of engaging in deep discussions with engineering teams about platform architecture, data quality, and scalability.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and using metrics to drive product decisions, including an understanding of unit economics and ROI for platform investments.
  • Experience with conducting product discovery, user validation, and A/B testing for platform components or new digital experiences.
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks and managing a backlog in a complex global organization.
  • Strong product intuition with a passion for creating innovative, experience-driven products that deliver effortless customer value.
  • Conviction to always do what's best for customers, with a humility to listen and learn.
  • Flexibility to adapt to change and influence in a dynamic, highly matrixed organizational environment.
