About The Position

As a Sr Product Manager for Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS), you will be a visionary and evangelist for Fire hardware and software products, with a primary focus on connected buildings, digitization of alarm transmission, and SAAS solutions. You will be responsible for driving the successful launch of new products and features, from concept to market delivery with a primary focus on leveraging internal and external data to build value added software solutions driving operational efficiency for our partners and impacting life safety. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading NPI programs, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This global leadership role is pivotal in Honeywell Fire's growth trajectory, overseeing the delivery of best-in-class software solutions for building owners, facility manager, system installers, central monitoring stations, and fire departments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management or related roles.
  • Proven track record in customer discovery, NPD execution, and NPI acceleration.
  • Experience in developing business case financials and creating offering roadmaps.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA or Advanced Degree (Preferred): An MBA or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the Fire industry, products, technology, and or fire/codes.
  • Savviness on emerging trends, technology and competitive landscape.
  • Familiarity with SaaS product lifecycle and delivery methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics).
  • Experience with agile methodologies including sprint planning and backlog management.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align product strategies with broader business goals.
  • Experience developing and executing product roadmaps.
  • Experience working in a global context, understanding diverse market needs.
  • Strong innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the NPI strategy aligned with the company's overall product roadmap and business goals.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify new product opportunities.
  • Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on market needs and customer feedback.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales throughout the NPI process.
  • Drive collaboration and communication to ensure alignment on product development milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for the new product within the organization.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for NPI projects.
  • Monitor progress against milestones, identify risks, and proactively address issues to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate beta testing, pilot programs, and market trials to validate product performance and gather customer feedback.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales collateral for new products.
  • Drive product launch activities including sales training, customer education, and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor post-launch performance, collect feedback, and iterate on product features and marketing strategies as needed.
  • Conduct post-launch reviews and analysis to evaluate the success of NPI projects against established metrics and KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements, process improvements, and cost optimization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities related to new product introductions.
