About The Position

We're seeking a Senior PMT to own supply forecasting capabilities that power Amazon's advertising business. Supply forecasting uses statistical sampling of large-scale data sets and predictive modeling to estimate publishers' future inventory availability, enabling Programmatic Guaranteed ad products and revenue optimization. You'll join a group of product managers, applied scientists, and engineers focused on predicting publisher inventory availability across Amazon's advertising ecosystem. Our team builds the forecasting systems that enable Programmatic Guaranteed products, helping advertisers secure inventory commitments with confidence while maximizing publisher yield. We work at the intersection of large-scale data engineering, statistical modeling, and product strategy, tackling challenges like handling billions of inventory samples, accounting for seasonal patterns, and improving forecast accuracy in real-time. The team collaborates closely with yield optimization, sales, and publisher-facing teams to ensure our forecasts drive critical business decisions. We value technical depth, data-driven decision making, and the ability to translate complex analytical problems into practical product solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience directly working with engineering teams
  • Experience working with data and leveraging analytics to make decisions

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithm design, statistics, and system design
  • Experience formulating and solving predictive modeling, machine learning, forecasting or statistical modeling problems
  • Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
  • Experience in programmatic advertising
  • Background in statistics, machine learning, or data science

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for supply forecasting systems that predict inventory across Amazon's publisher network
  • Partner with science and engineering teams to develop ML models that forecast ad impression availability for Programmatic Guaranteed campaigns
  • Define requirements for forecasting algorithms that account for seasonality, trends, and publisher behavior patterns
  • Establish metrics to measure forecast accuracy and business impact
  • Write technical specifications and influence system design decisions
