About The Position

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be a member of the world-class CNN Digital Product Team which is responsible for creating industry-leading digital products enjoyed by millions of news consumers across the globe. You will own a complete product within our Connected TV portfolio, working to deliver delightful and scalable video experiences across CTV devices. You are passionate about the intersection of streaming video & platform technology in addition to being knowledgeable about video consumers and competitors. You can develop product and business strategy based on customer needs, create clear product vision and translate insights into actionable roadmaps and OKRs. You establish goals, build alignment around them, and set appropriate priorities while balancing long-term gains with short-term opportunities. Requirements

  • 5+ years of digital product management/development experience
  • Experience with the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and product discovery to launch and product optimizations post-launch
  • Proven track record of owning complete products and delivering high-quality features with measurable impact
  • Understanding of subscription business and operations
  • Experience building and launching products in highly matrixed organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to develop product strategy and create clear product vision
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to leverage data to derive insights and inform product decisions
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting to and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Strong work ethic and integrity

Responsibilities

  • Develop product and business strategy based on customer needs and create a clear product vision for your CTV product area
  • Translate data, customer needs, strategy, and vision into prioritized product roadmap and OKRs while establishing goals and building alignment across teams
  • Partner with key stakeholders (especially platform partners, research, design, technology, content, and leadership) to align teams around your product vision and execute against company business goals
  • Establish yourself as a trusted partner to design and engineering and the primary point of contact for voice of the customer
  • Work with a broad group of cross-functional partners to deliver complex products on time and within budget, proactively partnering with go-to-market counterparts
  • Write clear and concise product artifacts (PRDs, PR/FAQs) that serve as models for effective documentation
  • Set effective goals and prioritization with accountability for delivering high-quality features and optimizations with a consistent ship cadence
  • Leverage data to derive insights and inform product decisions; use data to validate and communicate impact
  • Effectively partner with research to develop insights that drive decisions; demonstrate skill in UXR and A/B testing
  • Model healthy conflict resolution and influence peers and stakeholders across the organization
  • Set and communicate appropriate priorities while managing post-launch reviews and incorporating feedback and learnings into future iterations
