Sr Product Information & Data Governance Manager
About The Position
Tremendous opportunity to join our Sr Product Data Team within the Digital Marketing Center of Excellence during a time of significant strategic transformation! Reporting to the Sr Product Information & Data Governance Manager will have a great deal of impact and be empowered and expected to develop and drive implementation strategies that will elevate the holistic omnichannel shopping experience, expand product automation capabilities across Fortune Brands Innovations, and ensure the timely and accurate dissemination of product and marketing data for specific business units, their customers and down-channel go-to-market tools. This is a hybrid role - Tuesday - Thursday in the office and Monday and Friday you work from home.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Product Information Management and Syndication tools, specifically Salsify.
- 5+ years of experience with product development lifecycle with consumer/durable goods.
- Strong management skills with 3+years of experience directly managing a team.
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player with skills to lead and participate in cross-functional communication and activities.
- Demonstrated effective verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Responsibilities
- Manage a team that is responsible for validating, inputting, and maintaining product and marketing data within our Product Information Management System across Fortune Brands Innovations business units.
- Lead the syndication of product data to Fortune Brand's websites, retailers websites and other digital channels.
- Act as product data steward to ensure data completeness and accuracy and work with other stakeholders to improve the product data and content that is delivered to various channels.
- Champion the "Voice of the Customer & Consumer" by developing a thorough understanding of customer and market needs and trends. Conduct competitive analysis and gain data insights to develop strategies that elevate the holistic omnichannel shopping experience.
- Develop strategic partnerships with cross-functional departments and customers to increase customer's speed to market through improved go-to-market tools and innovative methods for delivering and consuming product and marketing data.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives that will drive productivity and improve business processes for both internal and external customers.
- Serves as a key contact for our product automation systems vendors, IT, and internal and external customers.
