About The Position

Essential Job Functions RFQ Strategy & Execution Independently support and execute pre-RFQ strategy activities for complex and strategic opportunities. Develop, maintain, and manage RFQ account plans, timelines, and deliverables. Identify risks, assumptions, and dependencies within RFQs and escalate as appropriate. Document Review & RFQ Governance Review RFQ/RFP documentation to identify commercial, operational, and product requirements. Ensure RFQ inputs from Sales and Product are complete, accurate, and aligned with bid strategy. Support governance and quality control of RFQ submissions. Q&A & Cross-Functional Coordination Serve as a primary point of contact for RFQ-related Q&A between GTM, Sales, and Product teams. Manage RFQ communications, clarifications, and updates with limited supervision. Meeting Leadership & Communication Coordinate and lead RFQ kickoff, pricing review, sign-off, and postmortem meetings as required. Document decisions, risks, and action items and ensure follow-through across stakeholders. Postmortem & Performance Analysis Analyze postmortem results, including win/loss outcomes, pricing performance, and execution feedback. Identify trends and recurring issues and provide recommendations for future RFQs. Maintain RFQ and postmortem data within designated repositories. Product & Trade Lane Support Review historical RFQs, pricing data, and trade lane performance to support product strategy discussions. Support Product and Manager-level roles with data analysis related to trade lane strategy and profitability. Process Improvement & Knowledge Sharing Identify process gaps or inefficiencies within RFQ and product workflows. Propose and support implementation of process improvements and best practices. Serve as a mentor or informal resource to junior specialists. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned to support team and organizational objectives. Proven experience with Ocean Freight RFQs and solid understanding of ocean freight market dynamics is required, as the primary focus of this role will be supporting Ocean RFQ activities. Ability to support Air Freight RFQs when required, particularly in ad-hoc or strategic situations, although the main responsibility of this position will remain Ocean RFQ support.
