About The Position

Regeneron is looking for a Sr. Scientist to support the Process and Analytical Sciences Department through small scale laboratory experiments, as well as analysis, troubleshooting, and validation of manufacturing bioprocesses. A typical day in this position may include: Drives GPS F5 Automation initiatives including GPS programs listed on the F5 Lab Automation and Facility Modernization pillar. Implements the work cell automation technology (robot arm) to save the FTE in PS Directional Analytics. Conducts scaled-down production procedures to improve the efficiency and yield of candidate or existing bioprocesses. Carries out small-scale process validation studies. Assists in the analysis of samples generated from lab scale studies. Develops and writes protocols for small-scale process validation studies. Tabulates results and writes summary reports of process evaluation and validation studies. Presents findings at group and possibly at interdepartmental meetings. Maintains lab supplies and equipment. Produces and maintains accurate records. You have experience with JMP, SIMCA or other statistical software beneficial You have a fundamental understanding of AKTA/filtration systems for downstream purification beneficial To be considered for this position you must have a BS/BA in life sciences/engineering or related field; Biomedical engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry preferred, and 6+ years of relevant experience. Requires engineering experience standing up and supporting islands of automation.
