About The Position

Responsible for the connection and interface between Engineering, Technology & Operations, and Customer facing organizations, focused on manufacturing readiness and hardware availability to support the Combat and Trainer Engine (CTE) organization. This role will act as a strategic hardware specialist, process improvement owner, and experienced mentor to other hardware owners within the team to optimize delivery for all CTE product lines. This role will report to the CTE Product Operations Director and will support all CTE product lines (i.e. F110, F404, F414, J85)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing programs or product operations, or 10 years of experience in related fields such as procurement, planning, manufacturing, quality, or fulfillment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead hardware execution across CTE product lines by interfacing between project teams, engineering, and supply chain at the part-number and supplier level, including managing multiple parts and suppliers where needed.
  • Support customer delivery and performance communications by partnering with Product Operations Leaders and the Product Operations Director on part-specific and process-specific deep dives.
  • Develop and implement supply strategies for assigned hardware, including New Product Introductions (NPI) and initiatives that impact more than one CTE product line.
  • Identify and resolve constraints that impact Clear to Build (CTB) and Operational Output Targets (OOT) for engines and spares, using data-driven analysis and structured problem solving.
  • Represent manufacturing in key governance forums , including Program Control Board (PCB), tollgate reviews, and technical reviews for assigned hardware or central processes.
  • Apply sound judgment and technical expertise to solve complex tasks, make data-supported decisions, and prioritize actions across multiple programs.
  • Use data to target the most impactful problems across CTE product lines and lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts that result in implemented and sustained countermeasures.
  • Mentor and coach colleagues with less experience , both within and outside the CTE organization, sharing best practices in product operations and hardware ownership.
  • Communicate effectively across functions and levels , building consensus and influencing outcomes in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Travel as needed to support on-site engagement with vendors and partners.
