The Senior Pricing Analyst plays a key role in shaping how ODL prices its products by translating data into actionable pricing strategies. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Product Management, and Marketing to develop pricing architecture, support segmentation strategies, and identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability. Through a combination of analytical rigor and business partnership, this position helps ensure pricing decisions are competitive, consistent, and aligned to overall business goals. The Impact You’ll Drive: Pricing Architecture Analyze sales, margin, and cost data to identify pricing opportunities and risks that inform overall pricing architecture. Support the design and enhancement of list price structures, discount frameworks, and value‑based pricing approaches. Contribute to the development of pricing guidelines and guardrails that ensure consistency across products, channels, and regions. Customer and Product Segmentation Initiatives Implement and maintain pricing models that incorporate customer, product, and regional segmentation. Partner with sales, finance, and product management to roll out segmented pricing strategies across customers and regions. Monitor performance of segmented pricing (e.g., by customer tier, region, product family) and recommend adjustments based on results. Pricing Maximization Analyze price realization, margin performance, and elasticity to identify opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability across products, customers, and regions. Develop and test pricing scenarios (e.g., list price moves, discount changes, new fee structures) to quantify financial impact and recommend optimal actions. Partner with sales, finance, and product teams to design targeted price improvements (upsell, cross‑sell, mix management) while balancing competitiveness and customer retention. Track the impact of pricing changes against targets (revenue, margin, win rates) and continuously refine strategies to improve long‑term value. Systems Maintain and enhance pricing master data (price lists, discount tables, customer segments) in core business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, CPQ). Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of pricing and segmentation data, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Collaborate with IT and system owners to improve pricing workflows, automate updates, and support new pricing architecture capabilities. Collaboration and Communication: Lead pricing discussions and alignment with product management, sales, finance, and marketing. Present strategic pricing recommendations and business cases to senior leadership. Set best practices and standards for pricing processes across the organization.
